Health and fitness coaching
At SemperFit we believe there is a difference between a trainer and a Coach. A trainer will guide you for the hour you’re in the gym. A Coach will guide you for life. Every SemperFit Coach MUST pass a rigorous training program prior to being allowed to coach and train SemperFit athletes.
Highly trained Coaches
As a comparison, a CrossFit Certified Level 1 Trainer receives approximately 16 hours of training and is qualified to instruct at any CrossFit gym. A personal trainer certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine can achieve that title in 4 weeks.
The SemperFit Certified Coach program is between 9 months to a year long and there is no guarantee that passing the program grants the title of SemperFit Coach.
Each SemperFit Coach receives the following training:
-
The SemperFit Functional Movement Assessment Technician Course
-
The SemperFit Leadership in Coaching Course
-
The SemperFit Olympic Style Weightlifting Trainer Course
-
The SemperFit Coaching Foundational Movements Course
There is no higher level of training standard for a coaching staff anywhere in Northeast Texas.
